Overview
Complete diesel conversion for the G-Class: OM612 or OM648 inline diesel engine combined with the ZF8HP70 transmission and all supporting integration components. The cooling system and conversion wiring are included as part of the package — they are not optional additions.
Specification
OM612 is a five-cylinder 2.7-litre CDI. OM648 is an inline-six 3.2-litre CDI — the configuration used in the development vehicle, available in standard or full performance specification. The ZF8HP70 provides eight forward gears and is managed by the Turbolamik retrofit controller. The conversion wiring includes a FastMotion-developed CAN Bus layer for older G-Class generations that had no factory CAN Bus.
