Overview
Complete ZF8HP70 transmission integration for the G-Class: ZF8HP70 transmission, engine adapter, transfer case adapter, Turbolamik controller, oil cooler, service kit, shifter and gear indicator — specified as a system and supplied together. Every component is selected for the specific engine and vehicle generation.
Specification
The ZF8HP70 provides eight forward gears, a wide ratio spread and the torque capacity appropriate for OM612 and OM648 diesel engines. The Turbolamik controller manages the transmission in standalone mode, independent from any factory vehicle ECU. The transfer case adapter and engine adapter are unique to each vehicle and engine combination.
