The Story Behind Overland-G Momentum
From idea to platform. Why Overland-G was created and what problem it solves in modern G-Class builds.

The Story Behind Overland-G Momentum
Overland-G Momentum started from a simple question: what would a civilian-access expedition Mercedes G-Class become if it were engineered as a complete platform rather than assembled from unrelated aftermarket parts?
For decades, the G-Class defined mechanical durability in demanding environments. As newer deployment-oriented platforms evolved, certain rugged configurations became increasingly limited in civilian use.
Built on Proven Architecture
Momentum builds on the mechanical logic of the W460, W461 and W463 platforms. These vehicles offer the structural foundation, driveline layout and serviceability required for serious expedition use.
Not a Replica
This is not an imitation of institutional vehicles. It is a civilian expedition platform inspired by deployment-grade engineering principles and developed with its own aluminium exterior architecture, drivetrain logic and expedition systems.
Momentum begins here.
