Overview
Precision-machined adapter connecting the selected Mercedes-Benz diesel engine to the ZF8HP70. Alignment, starter motor position, flywheel engagement and long-term structural integrity all depend on the adapter geometry — this is not an interchangeable part.
Integration
Part of the ZF 8HP Conversion Kit. Specific to each engine-transmission combination — the OM612 and OM648 variants are different. Specified alongside the engine package and confirmed before the conversion begins.
