Overview
The ZF8HP70 — the specific transmission variant used in Overland-G conversion builds. The 70 designation reflects torque capacity appropriate to OM612 and OM648 diesel outputs. Eight forward gears with a wide ratio spread: low gearing for technical terrain, tall overdrive for highway cruising. Managed by the Turbolamik controller in standalone retrofit mode.

Core component of the ZF 8HP Conversion Kit, supplied with torque converter and controller as part of a complete system. Transmission variant is confirmed by the team during project planning — it is not independently ordered.
