The Overland-G Aluminum Rear Winch Bumper defines the rear structure of the vehicle, combining protection and recovery capability into a single integrated system.
Structural Layout
The bumper is built as a modular assembly with a steel central structure and aluminum outer sections. This layout separates load-bearing elements from outer protection surfaces, allowing the system to handle recovery forces without unnecessary weight increase.
The steel core acts as the primary structural element, designed to absorb and transfer loads during recovery operations.
Winch Configuration
The system can be configured with an integrated rear winch mount or supplied without a winch, depending on the build requirements. This allows the rear setup to be aligned with the overall recovery architecture of the vehicle.
Outer Construction
The outer sections are manufactured from aluminum and form the protective shell of the rear bumper. These sections define the visual identity while maintaining resistance to impact and environmental exposure.
Grille inserts can be configured individually, allowing the rear design to match the rest of the vehicle. Weld finish is available in raw or smoothed variants.
Recovery Integration
The bumper is engineered to work as part of a complete recovery system. Structural alignment with front recovery points and chassis mounting ensures consistent load distribution during use.
Compatibility
Compatible with Mercedes G-Class platforms W460, W461 and W463. Due to variations across model years and configurations, compatibility should be confirmed before ordering.
