G-Class Long Travel Off-Road Shock Absorbers

The Overland-G Long Travel Off-Road Shock Absorbers extend suspension capability in Mercedes G-Class builds by allowing increased controlled movement across uneven terrain.

Suspension Travel

The extended travel design allows the axle to move further while maintaining control. This improves wheel articulation and helps keep traction when driving over rocks, ruts and uneven surfaces.

Damping Control

The damping characteristics are tuned for off-road use, balancing compression and rebound. This allows the suspension to handle both slow technical sections and higher-speed terrain.

Load Management

These dampers are designed to operate under additional vehicle weight from expedition equipment such as roof racks, recovery systems and auxiliary gear.

They maintain stability and reduce shock loads transferred to the chassis.

System Integration

For correct suspension behavior, the shock absorbers are used together with Heavy Duty Expedition Suspension Springs as part of the Overland-G Expedition Suspension System.

Fitment

The system is designed for direct installation on Mercedes G-Class platforms without modification.

Compatibility

Compatible with W460, W461 and W463 models depending on configuration. Final setup should be confirmed based on vehicle specification.

Application

Used in builds where increased suspension travel, controlled damping and improved traction are required in off-road and expedition conditions.
