G-Class Professional Snorkel Intake

The Mercedes G Professional Snorkel raises the engine air intake position on the vehicle, improving operation in dusty and wet conditions.

Intake Positioning

Mounted on the right side of the vehicle, the snorkel relocates the intake to a higher point on the body. This reduces dust ingestion during convoy driving and supports safer operation during water crossings.

Environmental Protection

By moving the intake away from lower-level exposure, the system helps protect the engine from debris, fine dust and water intrusion in off-road environments.

Vehicle Integration

The snorkel follows the geometry of the G-Class body, allowing integration without disrupting the original design lines of the vehicle.

System Integration

For controlled airflow, the snorkel is used together with a sealed intake system such as the Overland-G Aluminum Airbox, forming a closed intake path from inlet to engine.

It is also part of the Mercedes G Professional Exterior Upgrade Kit.

Compatibility

Compatible with Mercedes G-Class platforms W460, W461 and W463 depending on configuration. Fitment should be confirmed before ordering.

Application

Used in builds where intake protection and higher intake positioning are required for off-road and expedition use.
