Overland-G Momentum Concept Build
The Overland-G Momentum concept phase defined the visual and technical direction of the platform before physical development began.
The goal was not to create another modified G-Class. The goal was to understand how earlier Mercedes G-Class architectures could be evolved into a modern civilian expedition platform while preserving their mechanical honesty, durability and serviceability.
Vision
Momentum was developed around a clear principle: retain what makes the G-Class mechanically strong, and redesign the systems that limit long-range expedition use.
Concept Direction
- Aluminium exterior integration architecture
- Integrated front and rear recovery systems
- Expedition cooling and drivetrain packaging
- Off-grid electrical autonomy
- Functional exterior identity, not cosmetic styling
The concept stage explored proportions, body protection, roof systems, recovery hardware and expedition equipment integration as one coherent architecture.
Momentum begins here.
